Quote by bart416First of all, delete the cache of Firefox and the temporary internet files of MSIE.
Now your problem is propably temporary files.
In Windows Explorer right click your C: HD...
Then hit DiskCleaning (or something like that), its right bellow the graphical representation of the disk usage. It will analyze the HD for files that can be removed or compressed.
By doing this you might save space.

Like i just ran the wizard myself and i have about 2GB of Temporary files that could be removed.

After this is done you should have a bit more disk space.
Now fire up photoshop cs2 and go to the settings.
Now set the scratch drive to another HD with a lott of free space.
This will speed up photoshop and cause your C: HD to lose less space.

Now another problem might be memory swapping.
Go to the Controll panel, Double click System
Go to the Advanced tab. The first part is 'Prestations'.
Go to the properties of that. A window should popup.
In that window go to the advanced tab.
Now you can see 'Virtual Memory'
Click the Modify button, And now make another HD then C is used for swapping.
This will also increase system performance significant. Considering that C is used for almost everything.
Now accept the new settings and go out of their.

Now lets go back to the explorer window and right click the C hd again.
In the Extra tab you have an option 'Disk Controll'. Hit both checkboxes in the dialog and hit OK.
You will likely need to reboot, if you do so don't be scared of the blue screen you will get.
Its Microsoft ScanDisk with a GUI :P

this should fix small partitioning errors on your C HD.
By now the data is propably cluttered. Defragmentating your HD never hurts.
Right click C: again and go to properties again.
In the extra tab you have an option to defragmentate your HD.
Its pretty self explaining. Do it and your system should speed up a bit.
And you likely get another few mb of space that wasn't writeable cause of cluttered data.

If all of this doesn't work, then get all the data of the HD immediatly.
And use the waranty service of it if possible.

Quote by bart416Did anybody even mind to read what i posted?
Windows has something called scandisk.
I think the name is pretty self explaining.

Quote by bart416Uhm i just love graphical calcs + my assembly programming skills.
I can hide stuff on places nobody thinks of in it.

So i have about my three piles of notes that i got in math class in my calculator.
Except that i have never cheated on exams.

But they can't see if you cheat with a graphical calc, so thats why i do that :|

hahaha....we totally use the same technique! :D :D :D wooow and your good at assembly programming too....i totally prefer JAVA,C++,and Visual Basic though....my head aches when our teacher tells us to create a program using assembly language........uggghhhh  ,it's a pain in the butt......i assume that you're a Computer Engineering Student? I'm an Electronics & Communications Student and we're taking assembly language right now.....it is sooooo difficult.......

Uhm actually not,
I to need to think well when i write something in assembly.
And i end up spending loads of time with debugging.

yoru close of the engineering part.
The only fact is that i'm doing Industrial Sience :P
(basics of Mechanics, Chemistry & Electronics)

Hello, I just wanted to come by here and say thanks for participating on my thread. :)

Hey ^^
thanks for taking the quiz "What magical power do you possess?"
see ya!

Hello! Thank you for posting on my thread! I don't have any photoshop on my computer at home, and any photoshop wouldn't run right either, so the computers at school can take anything. My computer at home is loaded with viruses anyways, so I can barely get the internet to work. Well, I guess I will type you later then!

Hey thanks for postingon my thread. You made a good point. If we didn't have any uniforms I'd probably change my outfit 15 times till I go to school.

Ja ne ^_^

Quote by bart416Sometimes a lie is needed to save yourself.
Most people must lie because they aren't like the group.
Like if you don't listen to the same music you get laughed at.
So they lie about that, but after a while you can see a whole difrent
person then the actual one.
Why do i know this:
I need to do it myself. I know people that have been beaten up because
they listen to other types of music. Thats just wacko stupid, but its
hard reality.
So its quite natural that you save yourself with lies then.
But in some cases its totaly useless to lie i think.

Hey!
a little note to thank you for your reply on why do people lie thread! I guess you are right that lies have their reason to be! Thanks again for your comment! bye bye! :D
